Matthew 5:14-16 KJV

[14] Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. [15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. [16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Don't be afraid to be different, speak up, or follow the instruction of that quiet voice you sometimes hear. For me, that quiet voice has been the Holy Spirit providing guidance and courage to make difficult decisions.

You must learn to listen with a different ear. (John 10:27) Too many times you worry about what other people may think; you need to do the extraordinary to run those negative thinkers away. Having confidence in the outcome of your deeds and projects will encourage others to trust and support you – even understand why you must complete them!

Father God, thank you for encouraging us when no one else will. Father, you put determination within our souls. Lord, we ask for your continuous guidance as we put into motion that task – our predestined assignment. Father, give us enough hours in the day to thoroughly address each aspect of our assignments, giving them the attention necessary. Lord, as we birth, create, write, publish, or otherwise produce that special something, we ask for your grace and mercy, extra blessing and divine touch to bring it to fruition. Father, we thank you and we praise your holy name, in Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
